Privacy Policy

The short version

This site does not track you. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or social media pixels. The only personal information we hold is what you choose to type into the contact form — and we keep a copy of that in our server log so an enquiry cannot be lost if the email fails to send.

What we collect

When you submit the contact form, we receive:

• your first and last name
• your email address
• the subject and message you write

Every one of those fields is one you filled in yourself. We do not ask for, and do not want, any more than that. Please do not send us financial details, government identification numbers, or health information through this form.

Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry, and to carry on the resulting conversation about your project. We do not use it for marketing lists, and we do not sell it. Under the UK and EU GDPR the lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has asked us to get in touch.

Where your message is stored

Every enquiry sent through the contact form is written to our server log in full, including the message you write. We do this because email delivery is not something we can guarantee: if the email fails to send, that log is the only copy of your enquiry, and losing it would mean never answering you. The log is held on the hosting platform described below and is readable only by us.

Who else sees it

Two service providers handle your message on our behalf:

• MailerSend delivers the form submission to our inbox as an email. Your name, email address and message pass through their systems.
• Vercel hosts this website. Like any web host, their servers record standard request information such as your IP address and browser type in short-lived operational logs.

Both are processors acting on our instructions. Neither is permitted to use your information for their own purposes. Nobody else receives it, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after 24 months. Where an enquiry becomes a project, the correspondence is kept for as long as we need it for that project and for the record-keeping periods our insurers and accountants require.

Server logs, including the copy of your message described above, are kept for a shorter period than that and are deleted on the hosting platform's own rolling schedule. If you ask us to delete an enquiry, tell us and we will remove it from the inbox; the log copy ages out on its own.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@knockoutbuild.com or call (720) 316-5170 and we will deal with it. There is no charge, and you do not need to give a reason to ask us to delete an enquiry.

Children

This is a commercial construction website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. There is no version history to dig through — what is on this page is what we do.
